The Wilberforce Hall was once the original dining hall for the boy’s school and boasts traditional décor with a Victorian fireplace, parquet wooden floor, wood panelled ceiling and beams with medieval style chandeliers and stained-glass windows. A beautiful setting for any event including meetings and conferences, private celebrations, receptions and weddings.
The Concourse serves as the ideal complementary venue to your event in Wilberforce Hall, conveniently located right next door, just off the school’s main entrance. Whether you’re looking for a space for pre-dinner drinks or a casual lounge area, the Concourse enhances your event by providing that extra touch of comfort and style.
The Performing Arts Centre is perfect for meetings and conferences, musical theatre shows, dance competitions or live performances. It boasts two impressive indoor theatres with flexible spaces, an charming outdoor theatre, a contemporary dance studio, and a music department consisting of several individual music rooms. It has a central foyer area with a licensed bar on the first floor where refreshments and hospitality can be served during breaks or intervals. The Centre can be hired exclusively as a whole or any of the individual theatres or rooms can be hired out independently.
The Leathem is a fully licenced lounge bar situated on the first floor of the school sports pavilion with a large terrace overlooking Home fields where sporting fixtures are regularly played. It has a maximum capacity of 60 people and is perfect for a family get together, birthday party, a social gathering, or an informal meeting. It is also available for a private sporting event and can be hired along with the Homefields pitch for either a cricket, rugby or lacrosse match. Changing rooms are available on the ground floor of the pavilion
The Refectory boasts a spacious dining hall with modern seating for up to 220 guests, alongside a fully equipped kitchen and an impressive servery. This versatile space is ideal for accommodating large events, such as conferences held in our adjacent Humphreys Theatre or residential bookings. Our exceptional onsite caterers, Chartwells, offer a range of catering options, including hot buffets, plated lunches and dinners, or a gourmet canteen-style menu.
The Hill Fields Pavilion is a stand-alone, contemporary venue situated in Caterham-on-the-Hill, approximately one mile from Caterham School. It has a bright and airy versatile function room with a licensed bar on the first floor with panoramic views of the surrounding sports pitches and fields through floor to ceiling windows
Caterham School offers an abundance of outside space including multiple sport pitches, hard standing sports courts, grass fields, an all weather pitch, acres of beautiful woodlands, an outdoor learning centre, and a purpose built high ropes tree top course with a climbing wall. Whether you’re planning a summer party, wedding, or team-building activities, this versatile outdoor area provides a picturesque setting. With plenty of space for marquees, seating arrangements, and entertainment options, the venue can be tailored to suit any occasion. The entire outdoor space can be reserved exclusively or specific sections can be hired independently.
Our newly refurbished Sport Centre offers an array of exceptional facilities available for hir including an All-Weather-Pitch, sports hall, indoor swimming pool, dance studio, state of the art gym, a contemporary café and function room.
