Caterham School offers an abundance of outside space including multiple sport pitches, hard standing sports courts, grass fields, an all weather pitch, acres of beautiful woodlands, an outdoor learning centre, and a purpose built high ropes tree top course with a climbing wall. Whether you’re planning a summer party, wedding, or team-building activities, this versatile outdoor area provides a picturesque setting. With plenty of space for marquees, seating arrangements, and entertainment options, the venue can be tailored to suit any occasion. The entire outdoor space can be reserved exclusively or specific sections can be hired independently.
Adventure Awaits! Welcome to our premier outdoor facilities consisting of a state-of-the-art high ropes course and climbing wall. Our high ropes course comes complete with wobbly crossings, a ‘leap of faith’ challenge and a James Bond style zip wire finale. Don’t be left hanging while you tackle and gain confidence on our outdoor climbing wall. Our fully trained staff will guide and group you according to your ability. For the more experienced there will be races to the top and back, with or without a blind fold.
We are blessed to be surrounded by acres of tranquil woodlands, meticulously maintained by our woodland manager and grounds team. Amongst the woods we have a dedicated Outdoor Learning Centre which offers the ideal space for educational programs, workshops, forest schools and group activities.
Our high-quality sports pitches are available for hire, offering a great space for rugby, cricket, lacrosse and more. Whether you’re organising a friendly game, training session or league match, our well-maintained pitches provide a first-class facility.
Our sports pitches can be hired alongside our sports venues for team changing, hospitality and viewing spaces.

Yes, we offer ample on-site parking for your guests. If required, signage will be provided to guide them to the designated parking areas on the day of your event.
