Caterham School offers exceptional residential accommodation available for hire during the Easter, Summer, and October half-term holidays. With two distinct boarding houses, we can comfortably host a variety of groups.
Beech Hanger is our girls boarding house during term time, but can be split into girls and boys by separate buildings. The house is made up of 45 bedrooms which have 67 beds as standard during our term time with predominantly single or twin rooms some with shared bathroom facilities and several ensuite rooms. Additional hire beds can be added to certain rooms to increase the number of beds to 85 beds as a maximum.
The Main School house which is a boys boarding during the term time, but can be split into girls and boys by separate floors. The house is made up of 57 bedrooms which have 102 beds as standard during our term time with a mixture of 3 or 4 bed dorms with shared bathroom facilities and several ensuite single or twin rooms. Additional hire beds can be added to certain rooms to increase the number of beds to 148 beds as a maximum.

Caterham town is conveniently located less than a mile from the school.
Caterham Train station is also located less than a mile away, offering a direct route to London Bridge Station in approximately 45 minutes.
Smoking, including electronic cigarettes and vaping, is strictly prohibited anywhere on the school premises.
Upon arrival, a member of our team will greet you and handover keys and access cards for the facilities.
Yes, all activities must be booked ahead of time. We will do our best to accommodate any last-minute requests but cannot guarantee the spaces will be available.
We have a variety of bedroom sizes in our boarding facilities. We have single bedrooms with en-suites, single or double rooms with shared bathroom facilities and dormitories with shared bathroom facilities.
